We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our clients through exceptional hair care and styling services. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity while providing an outstanding customer experience in a welcoming environment.

Duties

• Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
• Perform makeup application and eyelash extensions as required by clients.
• Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on styles and treatments.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised.
• Assist in store management tasks, including inventory control and product displays.
• Upsell products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon profitability.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist with training as needed.
• Handle front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and managing client records.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Proficiency in barbering techniques is advantageous.
• Experience in makeup application and eyelash extensions is preferred.
• Ability to mentor others and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of upselling techniques to promote salon products and services.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: From £19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 36 per week
