Job Description:

Mediplacements is currently looking to recruit an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Haematology for a locum vacancy in Norfolk.

The pay for this position ranges from £23-£25 per hour. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible working full-time.

Working Pattern: Initially day shifts 9-5 then night shifts x3 per week.
Shift Pattern: Nights 2100 - 0800.

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Performing and interpreting a range of laboratory tests on blood and other body fluids.
2. Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
3. Record keeping and quality control.
4. Providing results and advice to medical staff.
5. Participating in continuing education and training.

The ideal candidate will be HCPC registered and fully competent in Haematology, Coagulation and Blood Transfusion, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
