An established industry player is seeking a passionate Gym and Games Teacher to inspire students through sports and activities. This role involves teaching a diverse range of sports to children aged 8 to 18, planning engaging lessons, and ensuring a safe and motivating environment. You will collaborate with colleagues and parents, coach teams, and organize matches, all while promoting the school’s ethos and commitment to child welfare. Working hours: 40 hours 8am – 5pm

Salary: £28,152 -£36,051 depending on experience

Responsible to: Lower School and Upper School Heads of School
Purpose of the job and Main duties
To teach a wide range of sports, games, activities and gymnastics to children from classes 3 to 12 (age 8 to 18) using the Steiner Waldorf movement curriculum.
Qualifications: At least one of the following:
Have relevant teaching experience in Gym and Games.
Be a good classroom practitioner with evidence of setting appropriate expectations to advance learning and engage and motivate students.
