THE ROLE

As the Guest Relations Manager you will be responsible for ensuring all of our guests have a memorable stay with us; where we not only meet but exceed their expectations. Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  1. Manage and oversee the entire guest journey from post reservation to check in through to departure.
  2. Review the incoming guests on a weekly basis in order to assign appropriate rooms, establish guests needs in advance of their arrival and prepare appropriate amenities.
  3. Create a bespoke check in experience for VIPs to ensure discretion and privacy if necessary.
  4. Develop and implement guest relations strategies with the Director of Rooms to further improve the guest experience.
  5. Be the key point of contact for any VIP guest staying with us ensuring you build a strong positive and ongoing relationship with them.
  6. Manage and provide direction to all employees on the floor during shifts and events.
  7. Ensure correct use of all reservations systems for any VIP bookings.
  8. Be forward thinking and innovative when it comes to ways of working and best practice.
  9. Offer strong leadership, mentoring, and guidance to your team.
  10. Be an ambassador for Nobu as well as a strong leader who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.

EXPERIENCE

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in an Assistant Guest Experience or Assistant Guest Relations Manager role.
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience within a 5* Hotel.
  3. Strong understanding of OPERA or similar reservation systems.
