Are you a highly skilled Group Technical Manager with a Chief Engineer Unlimited qualification looking to take on ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective performance of a fleet of ships?
Would you like to work for one of the UKs fastest growing fleets currently in the process of constructing 40 brand new vessels?
On offer is the opportunity to join the business as the Group Technical Manager with the ultimate responsibility and accountability for the safe, efficient and cost-effective performance of all ships assigned, owned and operated by the business?
This company operates within the offshore PSV and ERRV industry and operates the largest wholly UK-owned fleet engaged in supporting the UK's offshore Oil & Gas and offshore wind markets.
In this position, you'll be an integral part of a close-knit team, focusing on overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fleet, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all safety and regulations.
This flexible role would suit a Technical Manager from a Marine background looking for an exciting and varied role within a well-established yet growing company where you will work on exciting projects and can increase your earnings through a bonus.
The Role:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fleet, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Advise and update the Chief Technology Officer on ship operations, while closely monitoring budgets and expenditures.
  • Verify all vessel equipment, systems, and structures meet SOLAS, IMO, Class, and Flag Administration regulations, including environmental laws.
  • Manage ship maintenance programs to ensure seaworthiness and continued compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement frameworks to manage risk and drive workflow improvements for enhanced service delivery.

The Person:

  • Experience in offshore support vessels management.
  • Qualified Chief Engineer Unlimited or similar qualification.
