Group Revenue Manager

Group Revenue Manager position now available at an international law firm.

As the Group Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the firm's revenue cycle through the development and implementation of effective and efficient revenue management processes. You will manage the Revenue Team (approximately 15 people across 7 offices) responsible for WIP management and billing, and work closely with the Credit Control team to manage outstanding invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement best practices for WIP management and billing.
• Continuously improve the revenue processes by assessing existing systems and leading change initiatives.
• Develop and maintain all relevant process documentation and ensure compliance across the firm.
• Manage and develop direct reports to achieve team objectives and billing deadlines.
• Lead the billing software development/enhancement and training.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to WIP management and billing.
• Establish a framework of governance to ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing.
• Maintain knowledge of significant WIP and debt balances at Partner and office level, collaborating with the Revenue Controller and Credit Control teams to reduce these balances.
• Monitor missing timesheets and incorrect time recording behavior, ensuring prompt follow-up and working with partners to minimise missing time and reduce latency in time recording.
• Manage the ebilling function (2 people) to ensure effective and efficient ebilling processes are embedded to meet all ebilling guidelines.

Experience Needed:

• Prior experience with 3E and EBillingHub (Elite Enterprise is also an advantage).
• 5+ years of revenue management experience in a law firm.
• Prior exposure to meetings with and dealing with Partners.
• Advanced knowledge of standard billing practices and procedures.
