Job Description
What will you be doing?
We're seeking a Group Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team in London, Bristol, Liverpool or Manchester for an initial 12 month fixed term contract. In this role, you'll be working closely with the Head of Procurement on all aspects of the procurement life cycle and leading on a wide variety of sub-categories with a primary focus on integrating any acquired entities in a set time frame. The role necessitates collaborative working across the Procurement, M&A integration team and with wider S&W stakeholders to ensure all third-party engagements enhance commercial and operational value to the business and its clients. The role is responsible for negotiating commercial deals with suppliers with the aim to reduce cost and improve service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a fast-paced, dynamic procurement team and possess a can-do attitude to see things through to completion. Actively manage supplier risk and performance to ensure continuity. The candidate will also be responsible for developing supplier relationships to ensure S&W is at the forefront of innovation.
