Group Media Support Administrator

Compensation: £12.21 / hour


Description

14 hours per week – 7 hours on Thursday and 7 hours on Friday
Hybrid/Remote - Swindon/Oxford Area. While this role is fully remote we would request applicants be located within commutable distance of Swindon or Oxford.

The role would encompass general support to all areas of the production and advertising sections of the business, to ensure that all deadlines are met. Responsibilities include processing print public notices to online adverts using internal applications: AppManager and TeX. The role involves extracting key information from printed legal notices and inputting structured data into designated fields for online publication.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Problem solving and having a good knowledge and understanding of the workflow to enable issues to be resolved promptly
  2. Providing support to the Group Media Support Coordinators and Manager and salespeople overall, as advised
  3. Using the AppManager, TeX application, data entry processing of public notices viewable on the Public Notice Portal (PNP) web sites adhering to strict compliance of regulations
  4. Dealing with TeX related issues via the MS Helpdesk
  5. Operating flexible working practices to achieve group-wide deadlines
  6. Ensuring that queries from internal and external customers are responded to promptly and effectively
  7. Attending any training programmes as required in order to carry out the job function
  8. Ensure all data entered meets compliance standards and legal accuracy, as per public notice regulations

Person Profile

  1. A proven track record in working with technical systems
  2. Self-motivated, assertive, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality customer service
  3. An ability to work under pressure and to strict targets
  4. Strong self-management with experience in a very high-pressure environment where effective support is a constant requirement
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to understand sales needs and see things from their perspective
  6. Extensively flexible in terms of hours worked as this could involve working to a rota system
  7. Well presented, professional and with high standards in all business areas
  8. Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures
