Group Management Accountant
36 hours per week - Monday to Friday, based at Ware & Broxbourne Campuses
Salary £52,000 - £58,000 per annum (Effective from 1st April 2025) depending on qualifications and experience
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days plus bank and public holidays per annum.

About The Role

We are looking for a Group Management Accountant who will be responsible for preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Responsibilities include preparing and analysing monthly management accounts for the college group, preparing and producing college annual financial accounts and financial statements, liaising with auditors as part of the year-end process, and developing financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and budgeting processes.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a recognised professional accounting qualification, preferably ACCA/CIMA, and demonstrated this qualification within a senior finance role, with experience of using integrated accounting software and preparation of budgets and capital spend planning. Experience of working with external audits and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential. You will have high-level/advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and the proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
