About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineering Leader to join and lead our well-established and expanding Community Development team in Newcastle, Australia. This team is currently engaged in some of Newcastle’s most exciting projects across various industries and sectors, working collaboratively with local government, residential developers, rail authorities, education, commercial and industrial clients.
The Group Leader role is ideal for a proactive individual ready to advance their career by embracing leadership responsibilities. This position requires someone who is not only technically proficient but also capable of guiding and delivering projects for our clients. You will provide leadership to your teams to ensure alignment to company vision, strategy, initiatives, and culture. You will be the advocate of the business both internally within Stantec and externally to clients and professional organisations.
Reporting to the Business Leader (BL), you will leverage your advanced expertise in Geotechnical Engineering to lead the delivery of high-quality, technically sound projects that meet both client expectations and Stantec’s standards for profitability, scheduling, and quality.
