Job description

We are working on a great opportunity with a growing, forward-thinking group business looking for a Group Financial Reporting Manager. The role covers treasury, tax, group reporting, and risk management, with exposure to senior leadership and real variety. The role will be responsible for cash flow forecasting, tax compliance, transfer pricing, group MI, and managing key external relationships—plus mentoring a small team member.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of the Group’s treasury operations, including cash flow reporting, forecasting, and liquidity management.
  • Support all areas of tax compliance, including audits, regulatory filings, and tax-related projects or initiatives.
  • Assist in coordinating the annual Group audit process.
  • Prepare and maintain global transfer pricing documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and manage relationships with external advisors, banks, and financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director – Group Reporting on the development of the group reporting pack and management information suite.
  • Oversee the Group’s annual insurance programme, including claims handling when required.
  • Contribute to cross-functional finance projects and provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Maintain and manage Group Policies & Procedures documentation, along with the corporate Risk Register.
  • Support the enhancement and delivery of internal reporting packs.
  • Manage and mentor the team’s Apprentice/Graduate, supporting their development and progression.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA).
  • 2+ years of post-qualification experience, gained in either practice or industry.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards.
  • Experience working within multi-entity structures and global organisations.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple contributors under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable operating within a matrix organisational structure.
  • Technically proficient with strong systems experience and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Experience in the logistics or supply chain sector is advantageous.
