Group Financial Controller
Remote with occasional meetings in Oxford
Salary is £75,000 - £90,000 - negotiable for the right person
My client is a late-stage clinical biopharmaceutical company that has recently completed a significant fundraise to continue with the clinical development of a groundbreaking drug. They are entering an expected period of growth over the next few years as they work together readying the business and team for bringing their potentially best-in-class treatment option to the market. This is an exciting time to join the company and play a pivotal role in its growth and success.
For this role, you must have Biotech/Pharma experience, with a company going through (or gone through) clinical trials and ideally someone that has experience in a biotech that has commercially launched a drug product onto the market. This Group Financial Controller will be part of a small finance team and therefore will need to single-handedly take on finance strategy, the statutory accounts and global tax compliance and be able to build close working relationships across the wider team.
The salary is £75,000 - £90,000 plus bonus (up to 15%), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 2:1 matched pension contributions, flexible hours and the role is remote but the successful candidate must be willing to travel to Oxford for occasional meetings.
