Group Financial Controller

Based in Milton Keynes

£110 - £115K + car allowance + bonus

Investigo are delighted to be supporting this high growth private equity backed business who are seeking a Group Financial Controller. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operation and leading a large finance team (20 heads)

Key Duties

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Production of the consolidation of financial results from multiple subsidiaries and business units.
  • Key point of contact for external auditors and bank.
  • Lead the preparation of audit schedules as required to support the annual audit.
  • Develop and strengthen financial systems, processes and controls within the newly implemented ERP system with an ongoing focus on driving continuous improvements .
  • Provide expertise in M&A and technical accounting matters.
  • Lead the adoption of IFRS15 / IFRS16.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment within the finance department and across the business.

Experience

  • Experience in delivering finance transformation and change management.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAEW, CIMA or ACCA) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
