Position Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our three entities (German GmbH, UK Ltd, and US Inc). This is a unique opportunity for a senior finance professional seeking a part-time role (3-4 days per week) with significant responsibility and international exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial operations across our three international entities in Germany, UK and US.
- Manage and oversee the Microsoft Dynamics ERP/Accounting system for all entities.
- Perform consolidated accounting and reporting across international operations.
- Supervise and consult with remote regional accounting teams to handle day-to-day bookkeeping.
- Execute monthly reconciliations and closing procedures across all entities.
- Manage international payment processes and cash flow.
- Establish and maintain group-wide accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting requirements across US GAAP.
- Oversee internal audit and external processes and maintain strong internal controls.
- Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting models.
- Liaise with external accountants and advisors across jurisdictions.
Required Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification: German Wirtschaftsprüfer (WP) or Steuerberater, preferably combined with US CPA or UK ACCA/ACA.
- 7+ years of experience in international accounting and finance.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and German HGB accounting principles.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
