Are you an experienced Financial Accountant, with a formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA), experience of delivering full audited accounts to FRS 102 standard and managing external auditors?

If Yes, then we have an exciting role at The Luxion Group, as a Group Financial Accountant, reporting into our Group Financial Controller.

What does this role involve?

As the Group Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the group of financial information (UK GAAP), including review of trading results and consolidation of overall group position.

  • Preparing UK statutory accounts including disclosures and notes, for review and sign-off by Luxion directors.
  • Owning the relationship with external auditing teams for the annual financial audit.
  • The preparation of tax reporting and submissions including VAT and corporation tax and managing the relationship with external tax advisors.
  • People leadership and coaching of team members to high performance.

Who we are looking for?

As an experienced Financial Accountant, you will be technically strong; having knowledge and experience of UK GAAP/IFRS and FRS 102, as well as R&D accounting and tax credits.

Your background working in practice or direct knowledge of producing full sets of audited accounts at a group level will allow you to hit the ground running.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to adapt your approach relevant to your audience and build effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Your experience of working with large data sets and organisations with high turnover (to £1 billion) will be fundamental for success.
