5+ years in audit/financial reporting roles with strong IFRS knowledge.

The role

A very exciting opportunity for a newly created finance role within Yondr. The primary responsibility of the role holder will be to manage all global statutory financial statement filings, ensuring that the group and regional finance teams prepare, audit and file all financial statements in a timely manner.

Main responsibilities

/ Own global statutory financial statements compliance process and framework for all legal entities across the Group

/ Build and maintain detailed annual global financial statements preparation, audit and filing timetable

/ Ensure that the group and regional teams, along with the auditors and third party service providers keep to the agreed timetable/deadlines

/ Assist regional teams with audit issues from a conceptual and technical perspective, getting involved as required to resolve any roadblocks

/ Maintain Corporation Tax filing deadline timetable

/ Provide detailed weekly updates to Group FC and CFO on the progress on all financial statement filings

/ Assist in design and implementation of group wide insurance management framework across OpCos and PropCos, working with the Group FC, insurance brokers and the relevant Yondr departments as required

/ Get involved in special accounting projects as required by the Group FC and CFO

Qualifications and experience

/ Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CA)

/ 5+ years' experience of working in audit/financial reporting roles

/ Technically competent accountant, strong IFRS knowledge with reasonable grasp of other international GAAPs

/ International exposure, with experience of financial statement preparation

/ Strong presentation, analytical skills, people management, communication and organisation skills

/ Self-motivator, problem solver, identifies issues and comes up with the solutions
