If so, we have an opportunity for a Group Digital Website Product Owner to join our Digital team!
In this role you will be largely focused on our 15 websites; across our three brands and UK, IE, FR, DE and PL locales. You will lead our projects and Tech BAU which focus on anything from pricing, product visibility, navigation, product page performance, site speed, delivery and payment methods amongst others.
The Impact you will have in this role is:
- As the Own Sites Product Owner, you will be responsible for owning the product lifecycle and advocating for the customer to ensure existing, new and improved features meet their needs. The projects you deliver will be customer-focused and influenced by a range of qualitative and quantitative data, obtained by our Data, UX and Brand teams as well as yourself.
- You will work with the Product Manager and other Product Owners to inform, prioritise and organise a roadmap of projects that helps us achieve our business objectives. You will lead the Own-sites and Membership roadmaps, taking direction from Business Leads' objectives.
- You will lead our key projects, ensuring that stakeholders and those helping delivery projects are informed and working together to achieve milestones efficiently and to the requirements of the projects. This might include chairing meetings, updating JIRA, sharing communications and updates, monitoring success and reporting on key metrics etc.
- You will utilise the wider Digital team ensuring you harness the experience and skills of subject matter experts available to drive a high level of quality in your projects.
- Upon the implementation of projects, you and your stakeholders will reflect on what has been delivered and use any learnings to evolve our processes so future projects are delivered at an optimum level.
- An objective for 2025 is to increase the output of our Conversion, UX and Analytics teams, making our whole department customer-focused and insights-driven. As lead of the Own-site Product you have a key role in achieving this, working with our Head of Conversion, Analytics and Product to embed processes throughout the Product lifecycle.
- Work with other Product Owners to develop the ways of working and skills of you and the team.
As our future Group Digital Website Product Owner, you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Product Owner or in a role that shares similar skills and responsibilities; project management, digital delivery, research and planning, digital strategy.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a digital role working with websites. We aren't looking for a developer or engineer, but we do need someone that understands digital technology and the feasibility of changing web experiences.
- Communication is one of your strengths. We expect you to be able communicate with people from all a variety of teams with different levels of experience and detail. You should be comfortable sharing both positive and negative updates and able to resolve conflicts.
- Desire to continually learn and develop, through guidance from the senior team, peer-learning or individual training.
- Track record of creating and implementing strategies that achieve set objectives.
