As a Group Commissions Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the validity and accuracy of all travel agents' commissions, and the appropriate allocation and timely payment to agencies.
Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Preparing, checking, adjusting, and uploading commission reports to Onyxpay according to the weekly schedule for all MHG properties.
- Checking for accuracy, preparing, and approving commission payments to TAs via hotel accounts payable (BACS payments).
- Ensuring all information on the Agency Net Commission list is updated and cross-checked with the weekly commission payment report.
- Ensuring the information showing on the Onyxpay commission report is accurate.
- Acting as Maybourne hotels' point of contact for all commission-related inquiries.
- Checking and replying to all travel agency accommodation commission inquiries for all Maybourne properties in a timely manner in conjunction with relevant departments.
- Checking and replying to all banqueting agency commission inquiries for all Maybourne properties in a timely manner in conjunction with relevant departments.
- Checking and replying to all F&B agency commission inquiries for all Maybourne properties in a timely manner in conjunction with relevant departments.
- Maintaining an effective filing system that records all commission payments and the handling of commission inquiries for auditing purposes.
- Assisting in the preparation of any ad-hoc analysis, reports, or training as requested by management regarding commission policy and procedure.
- Weekly upload of commission reports to Onyxpay according to the weekly schedule for all MHG properties.
- Dealing with urgent commission inquiries and following up on progress until the case is closed to satisfaction.
- Preparing monthly travel agents and banqueting agency outstanding commission accrual journal.
- Liaising with: Head of Departments, Front Office, Events, Reservations, and Head Office Finance.
- Undertaking any other incidental jobs within the scope of the department and as requested by the Financial Controllers.
- Being aware of and maintaining department standards.
Entry Requirements
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, ideally someone who has worked in a similar Group Commissions Clerk role within the hospitality or travel and tourism industry. We would be looking for someone that has outstanding people management skills, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional organizational abilities. The role is varied and involves a great deal of interaction with all departments within the Hotel.
Other skills that will need to be demonstrated include:

- A high standard of personal presentation
