Group CFO - HealthTech - c.£200k + 30% bonus + equity - Wokingham (hybrid working)


Cedar have been retained by a mid-market Private Equity Firm to find a Group CFO for a c.£40m revenue business in the Health Services space.


This growing group of 4 operating companies has been on an exciting growth journey - both organically and through 2 recent bolt-on acquisitions, with strong operations across the UK&I, with a client facing CEO/Founder who is passionate about the business and secured PE backing to accelerate their journey.


This is a board level Group CFO role, partnering the CEO, Chief Commercial Officer and an impressive PE firm - with true influence in shaping the future strategic direction of the company and Finance teams, as they scale the business and work towards a sale over the next 2-3 years.


The CEO needs a high-energy CFO to help drive value creation; experienced in M&A - leading transactions and integrations; has supported a business sale including preparing IMs & FDD; and experienced in managing PE Fund relationships and reporting. The Finance team and systems need professionalisation, so you need to be someone who enjoys and can show recent experience of being hands-on.


The role manages a Finance team of 8 (plus 4 in HR), covering the Group consolidation, and Audit and Banking relationships, but with real influence on the Board and Commercial Deals - supported by a London based PE firm who are known for nurturing talent and providing lucrative returns for their management teams.


You will need the following experience to be successful applying for this role:

  1. Experience in a number 1 Finance role (Finance Director/CFO) in a multi-entity business.
  2. Experience in Private Equity-backed businesses.
  3. Experience preparing IMs and FDD for a business sale / refinancing.
  4. Good modelling experience, including 3 statement preparation (BS + P&L + Cashflow).
  5. Experience managing banking covenants, Audit, Legal and Banking relationships.
