Group Accountant

A Group role for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant has arisen at the Hull site of a highly successful global manufacturing company. Working as part of a dedicated team, this position offers challenge and variety for a technically competent finance professional.

THE BENEFITS:
55,000 - 60,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, hybrid working options, free parking, and a private healthcare scheme.

THE ROLE:

1. Prepare monthly accounts for the holding companies, prepare consolidated accounts and production of the month end reporting pack.
2. Weekly cash forecast, quarterly forecast and budgets, quarterly reporting for shareholders, banking, monthly VAT returns.
3. Year end duties, tax and internal audit.
4. A variety of ad hoc duties and projects as and when arise.

THE CANDIDATE:
Ideally, you will be an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant, trained in professional practice and with a demonstrable track record of financial accounting, reporting, and communicating with clarity.

You enjoy working as part of a talented finance team and have the ability to meet deadlines, utilise commercial flair, and can contribute effectively to the decision-making process of a business.
