Job description

T2M have been appointed to recruit a Group Accountant for an international private equity backed engineering services & logistics group, with operations throughout Europe, APAC and the US (the majority of business currently in Europe), that delivers projects to global brand manufacturing clients.

As Group Accountant, you will be part of a global industry leader delivering complex, high-impact projects and work in a collaborative and innovative finance team. This is a role that directly influences business performance and decision-making.

Hybrid Role - 2-3 days office based - Dartford

Salary up to £60,000 + Bonus & Benefits Package

What will you be doing as Group Accountant?

1. Act as the primary finance partner for Group function leaders, providing expert financial analysis and guidance.
2. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for Group functions.
3. Support key financial reporting activities, ensuring data integrity and insightful analysis.
4. Assist in Group audit processes and intercompany cost allocations.
5. Drive cost efficiencies, process improvements, and financial governance initiatives.
6. Support FP&A, tax, and treasury functions within the Group Finance team.
7. Monitor Group-wide cash flow and liquidity, providing strategic recommendations.

To be successful as Group Accountant you will have the following skills, attributes and experience:

1. ACA / ACCA qualified accountant with experience in a Group Finance role.
2. Strong background in business partnering, FP&A, and financial reporting.
3. Excellent analytical, modelling, and problem-solving skills.
4. Proactive approach with a drive to investigate, understand and improve processes and reporting.
5. High-level communication and presentation abilities to influence senior stakeholders.
6. Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, international environment.
7. Experience in cost transformation and process improvement (desirable).
