Groundworkers and Civil gangs - 50 mile Radius of Newton Abbott

Temp to Perm position - Civil Engineering Groundworkers or gangs - 50 mile radius from Newton Abbott - pay rate £18.00 per hour.

We are looking for motivated & experienced civil engineering Groundworker gangs or Groundworkers to join a successful Civil engineering company on a Temp to permanent basis due to how busy the client is getting.

This is a real career opportunity to join a highly successful Civil Engineering Contractor located in the Southwest and undertake a varied range of civil engineering projects for a well-respected client base.

The residence of the gang is ideally to be in Devon; they are a family-oriented business, their motto being "we work to live, not live to work." Therefore, work hours are generally restricted to 8 to 5 pm on site Monday to Friday, plus acceptable travel to ensure you are with your families every evening and weekend.

Job Overview/Responsibilities

Working on projects of £10k to £3m in value depending on experience. Responsibilities include:

1. Drainage
2. Highways
3. RC Works
4. Flood Defence
5. Responsibility for the day-to-day running of site operations.
6. Work efficiently and ensure that the highest standards for Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality are maintained.

Qualifications/Experience

A range of CSCS, CPCS (excavator/dumper/roller etc.) is an advantage.

1. Full Driving License
2. Strong team players with a "can do" attitude and good communication skills.
