Job description

Paxton Personnel is excited to announce an opportunity for a Technician on behalf of our client. We are currently seeking a technician to join their busy servicing department. If you have experience with forest and ground care equipment, we want to hear from you!

Position: Technician
Location: Inverness
Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the servicing and repair of all types of forest and ground care equipment.
  • Perform equipment service, repair, and/or testing as scheduled to departmental and Company standards, meeting performance targets when applied.
  • Assist with ordering the required materials for repairs/service and liaise with the parts department to ensure materials are in stock.
  • Carry out precision measuring/testing of equipment following clear set procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of works undertaken, including job tickets, timesheets, and other required paperwork.
  • Be responsible for any assigned vehicle's maintenance checks on a daily basis, reporting defects or similar to the line manager as soon as possible.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs during working hours.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in servicing and repairing forest and ground care equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
