A highly successful engineering company based in Dartford is looking for a CNC Grinder / Manual Grinder to join their team. The company is a market leader, offering a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility producing components for various industries including aerospace and automotive.

The Role - CNC Grinder / Manual Grinder
The company is looking for an engineer who can set and operate CNC or Manual grinding machines working on small to medium batch work quantities.

Duties - CNC Grinder / Manual Grinder

1. Setting and operating of CNC or Manual Grinding machines.
2. Experienced in work holding methods and best practices.
3. High precision machining.
4. Working to close tolerances on a variety of materials to engineering drawings.
5. Operating tools to engineering drawings and designs.
6. Directly involved in continuous improvement programs and quality control.

Requirements - CNC Grinder / Manual Grinder

1. Minimum 3 years' experience in setting and operating CNC or Manual grinding machines.
2. Applicant must be able to understand drawings with close tolerances.
3. Experienced in grinding different types of materials.
4. Must be self-motivated, show initiative, have the ability to problem solve, and work alone.
5. A sound working knowledge and understanding of machine tooling and proper tool usage is essential.
6. Experience with Studer, Universal, and Cylindrical grinding machines.

Hours of Work - CNC Grinder / Manual Grinder
Days - 08:00 - 16:30 / Early Finish Fridays

Salary - CNC Grinder / Manual Grinder
£45,000 - £47,000 Per Year
