Position: Principal Government Relations Officer
Reporting to: Senior Manager Government Relations
Salary: £63,112 per annum
Location: City Hall, London E16 1ZE
Our standard policy is two to three days in the office, this role involves out of hours work to reflect parliamentary and government business and time spent out and about, depending on business needs.

About the role
Provide expert public affairs advice to the Mayor, Deputy Mayors, and senior GLA staff, ensuring alignment with the Mayor’s vision for London. Develop and lead dynamic lobbying strategies and engagement programmes, building relationships with parliamentarians, partners, and stakeholders. Play a key role in influencing policy decisions, fostering collaboration, and effectively communicating the GLA’s position across diverse sectors.
