Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Grassroots and Commercial Manager to lead the growth of community sport programmes across the South West. This role combines hands-on delivery with commercial strategy, perfect for someone who understands the grassroots landscape and how it connects to professional sport.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and deliver grassroots sport initiatives across schools, clubs, and communities.
2. Build partnerships with schools, clubs, and local stakeholders to grow participation.
3. Identify and secure revenue through sponsorships, grants, and partnerships.
4. Align grassroots programmes with wider organisational and professional sport objectives.
5. Manage budgets, report on impact, and drive continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

1. Background in sports coaching or development.
2. Understanding of school and club sport in the UK.
3. Experience working within or alongside a professional sports organisation.
4. Proven track record of generating revenue or securing funding.
5. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
6. Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region.
