Job Overview
We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our Patient Recruitment and Enablement Design Team. The design team is responsible for designing engaging materials that resonate with clinical trial participants. Our designs are based on detailed patient insights and therapy area knowledge, personalizing each trial brand to the unique requirements of the study and the patients taking part. You will work with members of the creative and studio team and other stakeholders to create high-impact designs and layouts for patient and site materials to attract and retain patients in new clinical trials.
Responsibilities
Support creation of high-impact designs and branding to engage, attract, and retain based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
Develop or acquire the images used in a variety of creative projects, including advertisements, patient materials, printed materials, digital materials, corporate and brand identity.
Collaborate with other designers, PRLs, editors, production, printers, and writers to develop the final deliverable.
Deliver projects in accordance with budgeted hours and agreed deadlines.
Work with studio manager/senior creatives to review final design layouts and ensure files are properly set up for production release.
Check all proof stages from initial layouts to colour printers' proofs.
Plan and coordinate with studio manager/team members to delegate and manage own workload to meet deadlines.
Educate members of other teams on studio procedures/timelines/briefing requirements as necessary.
Use innovative and creative methods to redefine designs and meet the constraints of cost, time, and client.
Ensure graphic files, layouts, and projects are filed effectively.
Assist in maintaining overall quality control, helping to ensure that all layouts and print items are correct.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a field related to art or graphic design, or equivalent experience based on portfolio.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Graphic Design.
Knowledge of current Adobe Suite applications (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator).
Apple Mac literate.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
Digital experience is an advantage – for banners, web pages.
Layout skills and knowledge of design.
Working knowledge of print/production procedures.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Excellent eye for detail.
Strong sense of design development, in addition to communication, research, and problem-solving.
Ability to work both within a team environment and independently to prioritize tasks.
Ability to meet demanding timelines.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
Budgetary awareness/ability to provide accurate hours estimates for jobs.
