Job Title: Graphic Designer

Salary: £32,000 per annum

Hours: 37 per week

Location: Northampton office

Contract: Permanent

As a creative and forward-thinking graphic designer, you will play a key role in shaping and expanding our brand identity. We are seeking a naturally creative graphic designer who thrives in a transformational environment. With your Graphic Design 'know how' you will be developing and delivering engaging visuals that ensure our message reaches a wide range of audiences to further support, raising awareness, and driving change here at MND Association!

Our vision is a world free from MND. Our mission is to improve care and support for people with MND, their families and carers. We fund and promote research that leads to new understanding and treatments and brings us closer to a cure for MND. The Association also campaigns and raises awareness so the needs of people with MND, and everyone who cares for them, are recognised, and addressed by wider society.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and present bold, innovative designs bringing projects and campaigns to life with impact.
  • Craft visually striking campaigns from eye catching print materials to digital content that captivates audiences.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team, Digital Content Creator, and external agencies to produce cohesive, high-quality, engaging content and visuals.
  • Support the rollout and development of our brand identity both internally and externally, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring staff, volunteers, and freelancers maintain our brand consistency.
  • Compile and maintain a consistent up to date library of our creative assets ensuring accessibility for the wider team.
  • Deliver design workshops and advising on smaller self-serve on smaller design work.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and third-party suppliers.

About You

  • Proven professional graphic design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates creative flair, technical skill, and strategic thinking.
  • Fluent in using Adobe Creative Suite and other software such as InDesign, FIgma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and other design/asset management tools.
  • Experience in creating engaging, standout infographics.
  • Confident working across print, digital, and campaign materials.
  • The ability to apply and evolve brand guidelines while maintaining consistency.
  • Advanced presentation skills, bringing ideas to life visually and persuasively.
  • Familiarity with using digital workflow management tools (Microsoft Teams, Slack or Trello).
