Job description

Gordon Murray Group is a UK-based global luxury brand dedicated to creating and manufacturing the world’s greatest driving cars. These ultra-exclusive cars are engineered and designed without compromise to provide unrivalled driving experiences and driver-centric connection.

You will work as part of the Creative Team and report to the Graphics Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the requirements of the business are met from a creative perspective by providing a high-quality service through attention to detail, a disciplined and methodical approach and close liaison with colleagues.

The principal accountability will be to work as part of the Graphics Team and to produce high quality creative design work, often within tight deadlines, that supports the needs of a rapidly expanding business and takes it to the next level of design excellence. This will involve working on the customer journey material - both printed and digital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high impact, functional brand identities, end user interfaces and print design
  • Develop creative material for all stages of the customer journey, including magazines, websites, illustrative art prints, event material and internal documentation
  • Update and enhance all PR and Marketing literature, as required
  • Generate high level interactive presentations and material
  • Ensure that all company documentation is executed to the correct and highest of standards following the brand guidelines
  • Act as a ‘Brand Guardian’, ensuring adherence to corporate branding guidelines across the business
  • Proactively be aware of emerging trends and technologies to ensure that the business is always at the forefront of new technical development
  • Develop the role, be a team player and provide continuous support to the company and/or group of companies
  • Identify and highlight any areas for continuous improvement
  • Perform any other duties which may be reasonably asked of you

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 3+ Years experience working within the industry
  • Excellent illustration skills with a passion for design and a strong attention to detail
  • Proven design experience – inhouse or agency
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in Graphic Design, illustration or related field
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • PC and Apple Mac proficient
  • Able to work on multiple projects at once, and deliver within tight time frames
  • High level of understanding in digital and print processes, including new technologies and software
