Graphic Designer

Dartford, Kent

Full-time permanent hybrid role offers WFH 2 days per week.

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm.

Our client, a well-established specialist manufacturer, is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join their creative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate designer to create impactful marketing materials and contribute to the success of a trusted industry leader.

As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling design work that effectively communicates our clients' brand and values. Working closely with the Marketing Director and the wider team, you will take ownership of projects ranging from spec sheets and user guides to email campaigns and social media posts. Your designs will strengthen the brand's presence across various channels and engage target audiences.

Responsibilities of the Graphic Designer:

1. Create high-quality design work to meet demanding deadlines.
2. Maintain a clear and accessible filing system and archive for the organisation's design collateral.
3. Collaborate with the Marketing Director and team to produce spec sheets, user guides, tenders, email campaigns, and presentations that align with the brand.
4. Develop engaging social media posts to enhance brand presence.
5. Ensure consistency in brand image across all internal and external materials, both print and digital.
6. Continuously generate creative ideas to improve marketing designs by researching industry trends and competitors.
7. Attend courses to further develop your knowledge and expertise in design and marketing.

Candidate Profile:

1. Proven industry experience over an extended period.
2. Relevant qualifications, such as an HND or BA in Graphic Design.
3. Experience in the full creative process, from initial brief and concept to launch and delivery.
4. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft programmes.
5. Understanding of social media platforms as a marketing tool.
6. Passion for design and marketing, with a proactive and willing-to-learn attitude.
7. Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality projects across various media.
8. Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, recognising when support is needed.
10. Commitment to upholding the organisation's key values and delivering excellent customer service.
