Job Description

In this role you will learn all aspects of pensions administration, from the regulatory and legislative framework within which the Local Government Pension Scheme operates, to the day-to-day administration needed to calculate the benefits payable to members. You will have the opportunity to undertake the Award in Pensions Essentials, which takes up to 18 months to complete, and will be given one-to-one training to develop your skills to a senior pensions administrator level. This post would suit people who are good with numbers and are keen to learn and develop new skills.

You will have an HND or above in Finance, numerical or science or other recognised relevant subject.
