Job description

Our client is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Graduate Trainee to join their team. This role offers the perfect opportunity to build your career in auditing, working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment, giving you a great foot into your career after Graduation.

Role Overview

As a Graduate Trainee, you'll gain hands-on experience, develop technical expertise, and contribute to the success of client engagements, all while honing your skills in a structured training environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Gain an understanding and demonstrate practical application of accounting standards
  2. Learn how to use Proaudit and CaseWare Cloud to perform audit tasks
  3. Learn how to meet client needs
  4. Develop good working relationships with clients
  5. Complete assigned tasks and responsibilities
  6. Set own targets and communicate to the rest of the audit team
  7. Gain awareness of audit and accounting developments
  8. Understand the firm's policies and procedures and adhere to them daily
  9. Undertake any other tasks as required by the Audit team

Key Skills and Experience:

  1. Be willing to study towards and take exams for the ICAEW or ACCA
  2. Hold a Second class university degree
  3. PC literate, particularly with Excel and Word
