Graduate Town Planner - Cardiff

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000, depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Town Planner to join a leading urban planning consultancy based in Cardiff. The company is looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to support their team in delivering planning services for a variety of high-profile development projects. This role offers the flexibility of working at their Cardiff office or Bristol office space.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications
2. Provide planning advice on urban development projects
3. Conduct research and analysis of local planning policies and regulations
4. Collaborate with senior planners and external stakeholders
5. Support the management of projects through the planning process

Graduate Town Planner Requirements:

1. RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related field
2. Some professional experience in private consultancy
3. Must have started the APC and be actively pursuing chartership
4. A strong understanding of planning law and policy
5. Excellent communication and report-writing skills
6. A proactive and collaborative approach to work
7. An interest in urban development and shaping communities
