Graduate Town Planner - Nottingham


We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Town Planner to join a dynamic planning consultancy based in Nottingham. This is a fantastic chance for someone with a keen interest in shaping the built environment and contributing to a range of planning projects across both urban and rural settings.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
  2. Support senior planners in providing planning advice to clients.
  3. Conduct site assessments and environmental analyses.
  4. Engage with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure planning processes are followed efficiently.
  5. Help prepare planning reports, policy assessments, and environmental impact assessments.

The Ideal Candidate:
  1. A relevant degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. An interest in local planning issues and current policies.
  4. Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with planning software (e.g., GIS or AutoCAD).
  6. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
