Graduate Town Planner

Are you a recent graduate looking to launch your career in town planning? A leading planning consultancy is seeking ambitious and driven graduates to join their Nottingham team, offering a structured training programme, professional development, and exposure to a wide range of projects across the UK.

About the Role

The company provides full support towards RTPI accreditation, offering a structured APC training programme, hands-on experience, and mentorship from industry professionals.

What We're Looking For

1. A degree in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI accredited, but not essential)
2. A genuine interest in the planning and development sector
3. Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
4. A proactive and collaborative approach to work

Key Responsibilities

1. Assisting in the preparation of planning applications, appeals, and appraisals
2. Conducting research on local planning policies and site constraints
3. Supporting public consultations and stakeholder engagement
4. Drafting reports, statements, and correspondence under supervision
5. Attending site visits, planning committee meetings, and public examinations
