The Company

My client is an established Property Company who specialised in Property Investment, Land Promotion, Commercial and Residential Development, Planning and Renewables. They are now on the lookout for a Graduate Town Planner to join the Planning team in Bury St Edmunds.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, gaining hands-on experience and professional development in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities as a Graduate Town Planner:
  1. Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications
  2. Conducting research and site appraisals
  3. Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities
  4. Supporting senior planners on a variety of planning projects
  5. Keeping up to date with planning policies and regulations
Requirements as a Graduate Town Planner:
  1. A degree in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI/RICS accredited preferred)
  2. Strong analytical and research skills
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
  5. An interest in both urban and rural planning projects
