Role - Graduate TA:

Location - Droylsden

Are you currently a graduate seeking a role in education? A graduate teaching assistant role may be a great fit for you!

At Teaching Personnel, we provide the opportunity for graduates to gain relevant educational work experience while being paid. A school based in Manchester is currently seeking an adaptable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a full-time basis. The school is very welcoming and supportive, offering an excellent opportunity to gain exposure in classroom environments. This role will involve supporting an SEN child on a full-time basis. The school is situated in Droylsden and is close to many public transport links, with access to staff car parks. The pay for this role will be £89.38-£100 per day.

Main Duties:

  • Providing academic interventions and support in core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
  • Supporting an SEN child on a 1:1 basis
  • De-escalating challenging situations accordingly
  • Providing consistent positive encouragement

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field (early years, psychology, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Efficient in behavior management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with the option to make this role permanent potentially available at a later date.
