Job description

NES Fircroft are looking for a Graduate Stimulation Engineer who will work at our client's office in Great Yarmouth but could be required to travel/work on the client's vessel when operational requirements permit. They will be responsible for assisting in the development of acid and proppant stimulation job design with an aim to gain competency.


This permanent opportunity suits recent graduates or individuals who are graduating this year and are looking to kickstart their career in stimulation within the energy sector. The successful candidate must have the flexibility to travel when project requirements come up.


Location: Great Yarmouth


Responsibilities:

  1. The development of acid and proppant stimulation job design with an aim to gain competency in stimulation design.
  2. The output of material related to QA/QC, job reports, chemical reconciliations & reporting, and other processes and documents as required from time to time.
  3. Research and Development.
  4. Working in the laboratory fluid testing, learning the stimulation equipment, and attending stimulation treatments offshore, vessel capabilities.
  5. Travel to Vessel and Offshore to perform stimulation work on board the vessel.

Experience Required:

  1. Time spent in a lab environment would be desirable.
  2. Aware of the concepts of fracture design.
  3. Relevant Engineering Degree.
  4. UK passport required.
