The Role:

You will be developing front end applications, APIs, back-end services, database solutions and CI/CD pipelines. The ability to work with large and complex relational databases is a core requirement. You will be responsible for unit testing your code and partaking in peer code reviews.

This is a great opportunity for someone with .NET software development experience in C#, or someone who is keen to develop these skills and experience. You will be working within a supportive team within an agile development methodology. You will be given project ownership and be actively involved throughout the development cycle, from initial wireframing to final deployment. Career progression paths include Senior Developer, Solution Architect, Project Manager, DevOps and Data Science roles.

Profile of Ideal Candidate:

  • Final year students or recent graduates with a degree in a numerate subject (e.g. computer science, mathematics, chemistry, physics, engineering etc.) with a 2.1 or above, or have 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and issue resolution skills
  • Team player with a view to exercise independent decision making once experienced
  • Hands-on, dependable, quality-conscious and result driven
  • Flexible and able to adapt to new ideas with a can-do attitude
  • Able to plan successfully

Technology Stack (experience is not essential but an awareness is):

  • Analytics and Machine Learning: Python
  • CI/CD: BitBucket Git, TeamCity CI, Octopus Deploy, JIRA Issue Tracking

Salary: £32,500 (dependent on experience) plus benefits

Location: London/Midlands/Hybrid
