JOB: Graduate Service Engineer

LOCATION: Oxford

TERM: Permanent

SALARY: £25,000 to £35,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is working with a cutting-edge technology company based in Oxford that is looking to hire a Graduate Service Engineer. The Graduate Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

1. A degree or qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, etc.).
2. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience as a production, manufacturing, or service engineer, with an interest in robotics and process improvement.
3. Hands-on experience with building and/or programming robotic systems.
4. Ability to design and implement new processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
6. Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
7. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
8. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel when required.

The Graduate Service Engineer role will involve:

1. Providing technical support, maintenance, and servicing of robotic and automated systems.
2. Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
3. Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in robotic and mechanical systems.
4. Working closely with production and engineering teams to improve processes.
5. Designing and implementing new procedures to enhance system performance.
6. Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
7. Supporting customer training and providing technical documentation where necessary.
