Graduate School Finance Officer

Blue Skies Education are an education based recruitment agency working alongside a wonderful SEND school based in Tower Hamlets to recruit a school finance officer. We are looking for a graduate with a finance related degree such as Accounting & Finance, Business Finance, Banking & Finance, Finance etc.

The position, based in the school office, will provide 'on-the-job' training, working alongside the school business manager. The ideal candidate will possess the below attributes:

• Reliable, punctual and good attendance
• A 'can do' attitude and positive approach
• A solution based attitude to tasks and good problem-solving skills
• Excellent IT proficiency
• Finance based degree
• Excellent communication, verbal and written
• Ambitious and keen to learn

This position is for a one year contract and will be an excellent platform to build experience in a school setting, especially for someone who may have designs to become a school business manager, finance manager or operations manager.

• Hours: 32hrs per week (Mon-Fri)
• Annual Leave: 22 days per year + Bank Holidays
• Location: Tower Hamlets based SEND School
• Start Date: 7th April 2025 (1yr contract)

You will need:

• A valid DBS or be willing to apply for one (£63)
• Proof of right to work
• References
• Degree (as outlined above)
• UK Residency
• Complete Blue Skies Education registration
