Graduate Sales Engineer / Junior Sales Engineer / Field Sales Representative required to join a leading global distributor of mechanical engineering products.
The Graduate Sales Engineer / Junior Sales Engineer / Field Sales Representative will work remotely, mainly covering Reading, Berkshire and Oxfordshire, selling various MRO products such as bearings, power transmission, pumps, seals, lubricants, fasteners, industrial gearboxes, or similar MRO products.
This role will suit individuals with an engineering qualification or degree looking to kick-start their sales career in a technical, engineering, or industrial sector. Full training will be provided, offering excellent career progression opportunities.
Managing a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers within the mechanical engineering industry. Selling into industries such as marine, food & bev, oil & gas, power generation, water, and more.
Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling bearings, power transmission, pumps, seals, lubricants, fasteners, industrial gearboxes, and or similar mechanical engineering products.
Maintaining new MRO sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
Working closely with the Internal Sales Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Work remotely covering Hampshire and Dorset.
Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Sales Advisor, Graduate Sales Engineer, or similar.
Must have experience of face-to-face meetings and booking appointments to see customers on a weekly basis.
Will ideally have experience selling mechanical or engineering products. Full product training provided.
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering markets.
Full clean driving license.
Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites predominantly in Reading, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire.
