We are looking for a high calibre recent graduate who is seeking to start a career in the field of chemical regulatory affairs and risk assessment. You will join an experienced multi-disciplinary team working in chemical regulatory science; full training will be provided enabling you to fast track your career in this exciting and evolving area.
This team are experts in chemical risk assessment; they enable their global clients to effectively manage the risks posed by chemicals to the environment and human health, and to fulfil their legal obligations under regulations such as REACH and CLP. You will be exposed to an ongoing training programme in REACH and chemical risk assessment, starting work on challenging and interesting projects from day one, with real opportunities to develop deep expertise and advance within the company.
We are looking for a high calibre graduate with a lower degree in environmental science, ecotoxicology, environmental toxicology, or a similar subject, and ideally a higher degree (MSc/PhD) or other postgraduate qualification. Some experience in chemical regulatory science – either regulatory affairs or a GLP CRO lab role – would be ideal (e.g., placement year, work experience, thesis, etc.); if not, you must demonstrate your interest and potential to excel in this field. This will be a desk-based role focusing on the environmental hazard and risk assessment of chemicals. Strong written and verbal communication skills are vital, along with versatility and the ability to learn quickly.
