Job Title: Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

Type: Full-time, term-time only

Salary: 90-100 P/D - PAYE (no hidden umbrella fees)

Location: Dunstable, Luton

Are you a recent Graduate with a passion for education and aspirations for a career in childcare?

Tradewind are currently working with a range of mainstream and SEN Primary Schools who are looking for excellent graduates to join them in September 2025. These are full-time roles and will run for the full academic year.

As a Graduate, there are a number of roles available to you in our schools - either as a 1-1 SEN support assistant, general learning support assistant or a mix of the two.

You will be given on-the-job training throughout the year and have the full support of the SLT and Tradewind to ensure you are successful in your role.

No previous experience is required, but our schools are looking for Graduates who are approachable, nurturing, and patient.

What do we look for in a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant?

  1. A genuine interest in childcare and working with children
  2. A degree in a field relating to childcare or the creative arts
  3. A flexible, can-do attitude
  4. Willing to go the extra mile to contribute to the progress of the children and school
