Academics are currently working with this fantastic Primary school in Richmond to appoint a graduate that has a genuine passion for Sports and Physical Education to work alongside their teachers and promote sport within the school.
This Richmond-based school has a brilliant reputation in the private school leagues for a range of sports including Football, Hockey, and Cricket. The teams compete in regular fixtures against local teams, and the school has had some brilliant successes.
Parents and children join this school as it is known for Sports, and children go on to some of the top Senior schools in the country. The Headteacher is ready to interview and appoint a graduate who has some experience working with children in a paid or unpaid capacity. This could be youth work, coaching, summer holiday clubs, tutoring, or looking after relatives.
This role sees you working alongside the school staff from Year 3 to 7 when the children are taking part in outdoor and indoor PE, plus lunchtime and after-school clubs. You will need to be diligent, hardworking, and willing to role model high standards and excellent behaviour.
You will need a good standard of written and spoken English and be flexible to work with the PE teacher or the other teachers as required, supporting them to deliver lessons and ensuring that children get the best out of their time at school.
The school will need a commitment for the full academic year from September 2025 through to July 2026, working from 8.30 to 4pm during term time.
