An established industry player is seeking a Graduate Pastoral Assistant in Guildford to support vulnerable young people facing mental health challenges. This role is perfect for recent graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Education, or Counselling who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children aged 10 to 16. Graduate Pastoral Assistant - Guildford

Are you a recent Psychology or Criminology Graduate looking to kick-start your career in the Mental Health Sector? Are you looking for a role where you can support the mental health of vulnerable and at-risk young people?

A well-respected specialist school near Guildford is looking for a Graduate Pastoral Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range between 10 and 16 years old and face a range of SEMH needs and challenges including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. The Graduate Pastoral Assistant will be dedicated to being a consistent role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and up for a challenge!

The ideal Graduate Pastoral Assistant must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. Candidates with experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting are encouraged to apply. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Education, or Counselling would also be perfect for this position.

Details:
Start date ASAP
£80-£100 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, term time only
Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD is provided to ensure the safeguarding of all students
You MUST have the right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship
Must be able to travel to Guildford and surrounding areas
