Job description

Have you recently graduated and want to kick-start your career in media and events with an ambitious and friendly team? Looking for a fast-paced, exciting role where you’ll work with some of the world’s biggest brands—think Coca-Cola, NatWest, PepsiCo, and LEGO? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

At Cravenhill Publishing, we’re looking for a Graduate Media Executive to help grow our conferences and events. You’ll be promoting our industry-leading conferences, running marketing campaigns, and working closely with senior professionals from top brands. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in media, marketing, and events with full training, a competitive salary, bonuses, and a six-month review.

About Cravenhill Publishing

We are a publishing and events business focused on corporate and digital communications, design, and brand strategy. Our two magazines, Communicate and Transform, are industry-leading publications, and we produce a dynamic portfolio of conferences and awards events worldwide.

What You’ll Be Doing

  1. Engaging client lists to attend our conferences, along with generating new buying interest in our events.
  2. Researching businesses and identifying opportunities for sponsorships and partnerships.
  3. Creating and executing email marketing campaigns to promote our events.
  4. Liaising with sponsors and partners to ensure strong promotional support.
  5. Contributing to the development of conference content.
  6. Working closely with the Conference department, Design team, and Editorial team to support business growth.

Who We’re Looking For

  1. Ambitious, proactive, and hardworking. You take initiative, think on your feet, and love a challenge.
  2. A natural communicator, whether it’s on the phone, over email, or in person.
  3. Organised and detail-oriented. You can juggle multiple tasks, keep track of important details, and meet deadlines. This will become a very busy role in the lead-up to an event deadline, so it will require a calm head under pressure and flexibility with regards to work hours.
  4. Creative and curious. You enjoy thinking of new ways to engage audiences and stay up to date with industry trends.
  5. Eager to learn and grow. You want to develop your career in media, events, and marketing. You would also not back away from Excel spreadsheets, emails, and working with data.

Benefits

  1. Fun, open, and collaborative work environment.
  2. Small-medium and friendly team.
  3. Hybrid working: two days working from home and three days working from the office in Clapham, London (Tuesday-Thursday).
  4. Holiday allowance of 22 days plus bank holidays.
  5. Your birthday off.
  6. Salary review after six months.
  7. Company pension.
  8. Health insurance (after three months).
  9. External training opportunities and development.
  10. Potential for international travel.

We are actively hiring and looking to interview candidates as soon as possible. To apply, please send your CV along with a cover letter explaining why you are the perfect fit for this role. Applications without a cover letter will not be considered. Successful applicants will be required to attend an in-person interview in London.

Salary: £26,000 base salary, with a performance review after six months and the opportunity for bonuses based on your achievements.
