Job Summary
I am currently seeking a motivated and talented Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join my clients design team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to develop their skills in mechanical design and engineering, focusing on CAD modelling and drafting using tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers and other design team members to contribute to projects from concept through to production.

Key Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
2. Demonstrated experience in using CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Familiarity with other CAD platforms is a plus.
3. Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality design work.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
6. Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new tasks, and show initiative in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Internship or project experience in mechanical design or a related field.
2. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
3. Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a plus.
