This is a great opportunity for a recent geology, applied geology, engineering geology or geotechnical engineering graduate to join a team of ground investigation contractors and consultants on a range of projects. Amongst this specialist team who have carried out over 10,000 investigations over 30 years, you'll be provided with excellent training on engaging projects.

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will be:

1. Assisting with site walkovers.
2. Carrying out ground investigations.
3. Soil and rock logging.
4. Preparing phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies.
5. Writing factual and interpretive reports.
6. Working on in situ testing.
7. Observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental and geotechnical knowledge.

This Geotechnical Engineer position therefore requires applicants to have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geotechnical engineering or another relevant subject (MSc preferable), be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental/geotechnical skills and an ability to show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands-on role. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, live commutable to Watford and have a full right to work in the UK.
