Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer | Edinburgh | GBP27,000


An exciting new opportunity has come up for a Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer in Edinburgh. My client is a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy who have a strong presence in the geotechnical sector.


This is a great opportunity for a Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer to receive full training and be supported through to chartership. Your role as the Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer will mean that you will be working alongside talented and experienced chartered ground investigation engineers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct geotechnical desk studies.
  2. Prepare interpretative reports and specifications.
  3. Perform geotechnical analysis and design including slope stability assessments, settlement assessments, and foundation and retaining wall design.
  4. Spend 50% of your time on site and the other half in the office.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Holds a civil engineering degree.
  2. Live within a commutable distance from the Edinburgh office.
  3. Holds a full UK driving licence.
  4. Full rights to work within the UK.
